The coast is particularly indented, the islands and the untouched nature allures many boaters to this region. The archipelago counts 24 bigger and about 300 smaller islets and rocks, 3 nature parks &#8211; Tela\u0161\u0107ica, Velebit and Vransko Lake and 5 national parks &#8211; Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes, Kornati Islands, Krka and North Velebit classifying Zadar and its surroundings at the very top of the Croatian tourist offer. One of the most beautiful tourist attractions is the Sea Organ, a unique architectural wonder built in the subterranean part of the city&#8217;s waterfront. The flow of sea waves through the musical pipes that are installed beneath the sea creates an incredible sound &#8211; the so-called \u201csea music\u201d &#8211; which fills the air around the wide promenade along the seafront. The Church of St. Donatus is a symbol of the city of Zadar and the most famous monumental edifice of the Early Middle Ages in Croatia.\u00a0The Greeting to the Sun shines at the very tip of the Zadar peninsula and it consists of 300 multi-layered glass panels laid down on the same level as the stone paving of the promenade, arranged in a circle 22 metres in diameter.
