Hutovo Blato

Hutovo Blato is a nature and bird reserve in a unique sub-Mediterranean swamp in Europe. It is known from ancient times as a green oasis, with an abundance of water with perfect conditions for a large number of plant and animal species to live in. Because of the extreme importance and beauty, it was declared a nature park in 1995. If you decide to visit this unique natural park you can enjoy a series of beautiful lakes, canals and rivers, home to over 200 species of birds.
