Mogorjelo, Gabela, Daorson

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country rich in archaeological sites and certainly worth mentioning are Mogorjelo, Gabela and Daorson, located not far from Medjugorje. Mogorjelo is a unique archaeological monument from the Roman times, a well-preserved old Roman villa Rustica. This monument of culture is among the finest buildings of late antique architecture throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Daorson was the capital of the Illyrian tribe of Daors and it is significant not only from the archaeological but also the tourist aspect.
