Mostar is a city situated on the coast of the river Neretva, and represents cultural and economic centre of Herzegovina. It is known for the Old Bridge, which separates the city on the east and west coast. The west part is more modern while the east is still wrapped with past, with visible traces of Turkish occupation, and it is on the UNESCO-s world heritage list. A one day tour is enought to visit most of the tourist sights, like the mentioned Old Bridge, mosques, Turkish house or just to enjoy traditional Herzegovinian meals along the river Neretva. The fascinating charm of the old city captures you in one place for a few hours while you enjoy the views and absorb the sounds. Not far from the old town is the church of St. Peter and Paul, inside which is a viewpoint (75m) that gives a panoramic view of the entire city.
